Port or Starboard Cozumel (Liberty)

Which side does Liberty usually dock in Cozumel? Will be on her next week and I'm on hold with RCCL & hoping to upgrade to a balcony. There will be 2 other ships in port that day--Brilliance of the Seas & Carnival Triumph. It's my friends' first cruise, and if possible we'd like to be on the side the ship docks.

Should be on the outside of the dock. Larger ship on the outside, smaller ship on the inside.

 

At least that's the way it has been done every time I've been to Cozumel.

Darkwolfe is correct. Two weeks ago, we were on the Brilliance. Liberty was on the outside, we were on the inside in Coz. Port side (left) of Liberty is on the dock-side, unless they back in, then it would be the starboard side towards the dock.

 

When we were there, the Brilliance came in after the Liberty and it was fun watching the Brilliance back in next to the dock.

 

 

Carnival ships dock at a different (but nearby) pier.

It can vary based on who arrives first, what the conditions are like, etc. At some point you are beyond details you can control.
