Congratulations Bill, to you and Linda!! mac_tlc -
I gotta say --- Terminal C is absolutely brutal. Especially if you are arriving on JetBlue. Brand New and one of the longest corridors I have ever experienced in an airport that doesn't have a moving sidewalk. As you can probably attest, its a wheelchair challenge. When we arrived on Jet Blue, in order to get to the rental car garage I think we went up three elevators and down two -- with about a mile of walking in between ... Sorry for the hijack -- back to our regularly scheduled programming. mac_tlc

Edge - Terminal 25 - questions about Uber pickup after cruise
mac_tlc replied to MarKay525's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have used Lyft from terminal 25 a number of times and every time, itβs a challenge to connect. Impossible inside the building. This last time, I walked almost into the street right near the pickup area and it worked fine. Near the building, not so much. We have Xfinity Mobile, which uses the Verizon system I believe. We were also going to Enterprise π. mac_tlc -
Our favorite Disney World restaurant is definitely Boma, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I guess we like the restaurants thereβ we named our cat Jiko - after the signature restaurant there which is fabulous: We lost that wonderful girl to cancer about a year and a half ago. The newest family member is Mara - the quick service restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Now, back to restaurants: We also enjoy the Biergarten at the German pavilion in Epcot, The Edison at Disney Springs. Chef Art Smithβs Homecoming is good but difficult to get a reservation. A good βsecretβ is Oliviaβs at Old Key West. For a real treat try Capa at the Four Seasons Resort β one of the only ways to get to see Golden Oak !!!

We go more for the food than the rides ! Any Epcot festival is a great day , or two. We bought a house in Orlando awhile ago and my sister-in-law hasnβt seen it yet and she is coming with us, always fun with a newbie!! We will head over to Jetty Park near Port Canaveral one weekend day to watch the cruise ships leave . With a trip to Fishlips first! mac_tlc

Enjoying you Disney pix. My first trip was in 1973 with my Mom. I guess I liked it because trip #107 is next week! Looking forward to your TA adventures! My wife and I love the sea days. She prefers slightly smaller ships than the mega ships unless the grandkids are coming along. She has some mobility issues and uses a wheelchair occasionally if a lot of walking is involved. Interested in your experience/observations . mac_tlc

And I think that 12,000 was before Hideaway Beach opened. There are 7 or so days in April and the same number in May where only one ship is scheduled, fewer later in the year once Utopia starts sailing. It is very nice with only one. Of course, some of those single ship days are Icon days which has 7000 of its own folks. mac_tlc

According to CruiseMapper, you will be the first X ship there, with 6000 RCL relatives! We enjoy the lagoon pool and swim up bar before it gets crowded and loud.

Open to all. Just booked the 8 day 4/4/2026 Silhouette to ABC islands. May add the preceding 6 day, or look to something else for a S2S. Oceania Allura transatlantic on 4/14/26 is intriguing. mac_tlc -
For us, itβs a mobility issue. We would choose the V1 category right near the elevators on deck 8. We enjoy the wake view but the walk is an issue. Itβs also an hassle many times dodging the stateroom attendant carts and empty room service trays with a wheelchair. We try to avoid the βpush-stop-get up-walk-stop-sit down- pushβ cycle as much as possible. Only in Alaska and Norway do we an aft or sunset veranda. mac_tlc

Looks like you are having a great time. We enjoyed Matt Johnson on Beyond in February. He did an afternoon show later 8n the cruise that was completely different from his first show. Very well attended. Love the Cafe alBacio picture! Itβs our favorite place on the ship ! Almond croissant anyone? mac_tlc

I think we are about to book the Silhouette for March 2026 to go to the ABC islands. Would you like to join us ? ππ. We are βlone wolvesβ on this thread . We actually really enjoy the E class Retreat experience πππ. Of course there are a couple of things we would change, but for what we like β fabulous shows, game shows, trivia, casino β they are excellent. The theaters are second to none. We love the ocean views from the Retreat Lounge. Even in our early years, we have never sat at a bar for a drink so the lack of bar seating is not a negative for us . The sunset bar, particularly on Beyond and Ascent is stunning β- maybe they should have let Nate Bermuda design the Retreat Loungeπ. One of the main reasons we will hop back to S-class is so we can have access to the MDR menu in Luminae. Itβs all good, we enjoy them all β- choice is good. mac_tlc -
ππππππππππππππ Our waiter on Beyond in February was Rozi, and Victor was delivering all the Bourbon and Peaches ! Rozi was great , his wife is a server in Eden. If you run across him, let him know Michael and Terri say hello !!! Iβm getting thirsty ! mac_tlc
