Carnival "Platinum" status...what does this mean?

Kelly-- you can edit a post up to 20 minutes after first posting. once youpost youcan see an edit button on the bottom of your post. yuwill see that button for 20 minutes then it disappears. Use that to make corrections or add stuff.

Carnival indeed doesnt have old records. I traveled on the Mardi Gras for my first Cruise in 1978..

 

Of course they had no record.. but look what I found!!

 

Of course it was my maiden name.. and i had to deal with that issue..

 

The year was 1978!! and the ship was a wreck even then! LOL

We had a porthole cabin and to look out the window you had to fall against the wall as the wall slanted out!

 

The Price $746.. for a run down shabby..Paint peeling on furniture.. etc..room.

 

I have just booked the Liberty and it cost me over $100 less for an 8C with Balcony!!

 

Have also been on the Festival in the late 80's and the Valor last year.. Then other ships outside carnival..
