soccersharon Posted March 28, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Many folks have been asking/hoping for different and longer itineraries. Nice to see a couple. What an amazing itinerary ... and no airfare required! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk You would need airfare, to or from San Juan, unless you do a B2B=21 days. Looks great. I saw prices on the Southern and I think they are high. Much better prices on this years Repos. Looks like Triumph is also doing some 7 day cruises!! I sure hope the Magic is staying in Galveston. It is my favorite ship!!!
christyran1228 Posted March 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Yeah...reading is fundamental. Lol. I was thinking it started in Galveston, too. Maybe only one way airfare? lol Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
picomullet Posted March 28, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Wish they would have made that an 11 day returning to Galveston with a couple more sea days. Then we wouldn't have to fly. Oh well, no one ask me!:o

jbhudson Posted March 28, 2014 #20 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Only the 11 day shows up for me (leaving 1/16/2016), I hate carnival's website. Where are the 7 day itineraries going to???? Nevermind, I clicked on the link in post #3. Edited March 28, 2014 by jbhudson
Rudyard Posted March 28, 2014 #21 Share Posted March 28, 2014 There have been rumors of Carnival putting a third ship in Galveston now that they are going to be building a third terminal. It could be that Triumph will do longer cruises permanently and the third ship will take over the four and five days runs that Triumph does now. k2excursion Posted March 28, 2014 #22 Share Posted March 28, 2014 WOW! These are great itineraries! It's about time that they did this. They had to have had this idea for a long time now. It's nice to see that they're finally doing it. Prices are not bad either. We got an even better deal on the Splendor's San Juan to Miami sailing, but it has since risen dramatically. Plus, Texas people would only need one flight to do one of these sailings, or no flight to do both. If they had these sooner, we would've definitely been jumping on one of them. EAZYLIVING Posted March 28, 2014 #23 Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Carnival.com is showing the Triumph sailing from Galveston Jan 16, 2016 ending in San Juan? Interesting. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app If this is true then Carnival please don't wait until 2016 to start these itineraries. Us Texans need a change now!!!! My dream itinerary is to St. Thomas from Galveston. But I will keep dreaming.: Wow. I just saw the Triumph St. Thomas itinerary. Now Carnival I would prefer a bigger ship to go there. The Triumph has almost worn out its welcome. Edited March 28, 2014 by EAZYLIVING
EnTnSA Posted March 28, 2014 #24 Share Posted March 28, 2014 First off, I am excited at the potential for new ports out of Galveston. We were starting to get stale on the same few. That said, I am still trying to work out in my head how I could drive from San Antonio to Galveston, board a ship for 11 days, fly back to…Houston I guess? Take a cab back to Galveston to get my car and drive home? Will make it somewhat challenging, but I will figure it out Im sure. Im anxious to try at least!
