On the Fantasy I ordered a Long Island, the pool drink waiter said I should try an Adios. It's I think the same as a long island except instead of the coke they add Blue Curacao so even more alcohol and after a couple of them you are ready to say Adios. They are good though!

This is know as a Blue Motorcycle here in the U.S. We make them all the time.

A Tokyo Tea. Only made really well on Carnival. Was introduced to it a few years back by a bartender onboard. Is now my drink of choice when trying to get a buzz quick. A lot like a long island because it has a lot of liquors. It is green and has only liquor unlike a long island which has lemon juice (or sweet and sour) and coke

At the Splendor martini bar we tried a Red LIIT, Blue LIIT and Green LIIT. Each of them were made with Chambord, Blue Curacao and Midori respectively. After trying all 3 it was definitely beddie bye time!

The strongest drink I have had, was the Long island Ice tea!

Last cruise, I got one of those drinks on us cards, and I would order one in the casino just before going back to my cabin, then would carry it back to the room with me, and had it as a "night cap". I had a forward porthole room, which had a bit of motion, and between the effects of the LIIT and the rocking motion, I slept like a baby every night:D

bailey's bushwhacker - .5oz Baileys - .5oz Kahlua - .5oz Malibu Rum

.5oz Amaretto - .5oz Vodka - ice and blend

and also we had the "funship special" the first day we boarded and our heads were spinning until we got a good meal in us :-)

That bailey's drink sounds like a winner! But I too have had that effect from the Funship Special, and especially after the second one. It does seem stronger than the subsequent dod's of the cruise. I do also like those funship specials, and no sailaway would be right without one.:)

Bloody Mary from the mobile bar cart behind the atrium bar on Breeze; only one and I was quite affected. Maybe my second or third Bloody Mary in my life, but she was a wicked wicked strong drink. :p

Ok a bit off topic, you arent by any chance originally from RI or the new england area? I only ask because Hearing "wicked" used is such a new england thing , I love it though!! I myself from RI ;)

Barcardi 151, Martini's, and for the mixed drink specials, "The DJ" which is sold in the clubs. Its a drink with the main ingredient being Curacao, and I don't remember what else they put in it, but it's one of those that "sneak" up on you after a few.

My GF posed an interesting question, what's the strongest drink you have had while on a carnival cruise? I'm thinking long island ice tea?

The strongest would be a long Island iced tea or blue long island (an adios mother blanker ;) and blue motorcycle are the same drink). The difference with the two are one is made with coke and one with sprite and the addiditon of blue curacao to make it blue. Their are a million variations to almost every drink but being a bartender for so long this is how I make them and have never had one sent back. This would be the most bang for your buck unless you order straight liquor via shots or martinis /on the rocks (like barcardi 151 or vodka/gin/whiskey)

This goes for every bar not just on a cruise ship :)
