Could I get some insight as to this ship? I know it is older, but what is the overall condition and how about the oceanview cabins? Is there a serenity area on the ship? I know the deck plans look somewhat like the Elation and I really like that ship.

Sailed on this ship for my first and second cruise ever. Mid sized, perhaps smallish by today's mega ships. Easy to navigate from deck to deck, I had a 1A ocean view cabin both times in the front of the ship. Wooden deck that got hot in Caribbean sun. Used to be smoke free, that was my main reason for choosing this ship, not anymore. Casino was ok.

I know this doesn't answer any of your questions.

Paradise will be identical in layout to Elation, they are sister ships. The OV cabins will be the same size and configuration as well.

Paradise has not had the full renovations that some of the other Fantasy Class ships have had, so her cabins will still be original to 1999. My wife was on board last year, and said that they are looking dated.

I believe that she does have Serenity, but does not have the Waterworks.

I've sailed "Paradise" a number of times recently, and have her booked for a B2B in a month. I have noted that she's in OUTSTANDING condition, with a fantastic crew, much better than average entertainment, and excellent food and service. The serenity deck is in the perfect place, IMO, and really is an excellent place to relax. You won't go wrong with a cruise aboard "Paradise".

We have sailed the Paradise and have another coming up in April with DD, SIL and 7 year old GS. Their first cruise. She is 'Fantasy' class. Serenity is deck 9 aft. You can get to it from Lido by going down the aft stairs or go through the Queen Mary aft lounge on deck 9.

Enjoy. :D

We were on the paradise in December. We had a porthole cabin and loved it. Yes, she is older but the crew were great. There is a serenity area on the back of the ship. It's small, but nice. I'm personally fond of the dream class ships with a Cloud 9 spa, but for a quick getaway, fantasy class will do just fine.

I believe she still has the medicine cabinets and square sink in the bathroom. They should fire whoever came up with the replacement in the other Fantasy Class ships.

I think her Atrium is very pretty. Gotta love those turquoise, jeweled eggs.

I was on the Paradise in August. I didn't notice anything particularly worn or dated about the ship. The Serenity area was very nice, and we spent a lot of time out there. The crew was fantastic all around. We were in a mid-ship oceanview on the Empress deck. There is a link to my review of our cruise in my signature.

Paradise is the latest/newest of the Fantasy class ships.

I'm not sure about which is the "newest". It might be that she was introduced last but the others have been "upgraded" since relapse. The bathroom does have a medicine cabinet, which no other fantasy class ship that we've sailed on has had. Also, she doesn't have a "waterworks" area. She still has the slide that runs directly into the pool.
