Given the competition,even in the luxury sector,cruise lines must expand their customer base in order to survive.

They do this by offering discounts.

There is nothing new in people decrying a decline in standards,or passenger demographic.

I have met passengers who remember having to dress formally for dinner every night.

Luxury cruising is no different to other services,or products,in that it must adapt,or slowly die.

Panic? Is it as bad as that? I've paid for my November cruise, Cairo to Singapore, in full already. Should I get travel insurance just in case?

 

 

You should never travel without travel insurance.
