Ilovepj Posted April 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Hi All, Next Saturday we will be going on the Ruby Princess, and I want to make reservation for the crown Grille for Sunday night (formal night) because that is my 25th anniversary, and want to spend it there. So my question: When we board the ship Saturday will there be someone there to book it, or when is the best time to do that. Thanks for any info, this is very important to get it for that night. Happy2cruise Posted April 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2014 What we do is once we get to our cabin on embarkation day is call the Dining line and make a reservation for day and time wanted. You can even take a walk to the restaurant as there is usually someone there to take reservations. Enjoy:):)
-Lew- Posted April 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2014 I would proceed directly to the Crown Grill upon boarding. There should be somebody there to accept your booking. Lew

OCruisers Posted April 6, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 6, 2014 Call the Dine Line from your cabin. On our last several cruises there was no one at Crown Grill to take reservations. Just calling the Dine Line is lots easier anyway. :) LuLu ~~~
jean s Posted April 6, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 6, 2014 We always eat in the specialty restaurants two or three times each cruise. We just get to our cabins and call the the dine line. No problem making reservations for all the nights we want.
olsonfive Posted April 6, 2014 #12 Share Posted April 6, 2014 We were just on Ruby last week. After boarding at around noon we first went to Horizon buffet. Then we went to room - soon after called Dine number from room for Crown Grill reservations for the next night. Loved the great food and service there!
