BC vs. passport card online check in CARNIVAL

I plan on taking my BC and DL for my cruise in July. My question is, if I decide to get a passport card, and have already checked in with a BC, with that effect anything? I could just be patient and wait for the online check in to be available again, but I decided to come here instead. Thanks!!

It should have no effect at all. Just use the PP card when you check in at the port, and they will change the info.

You can edit your online check-in anytime.. thats what we did.

We originally put in BC and then once our passport cards came in the mail we just went in and edited that portion of our check-in.
