t shirt sale?

I remember some ships having a t-shirt sale on one of the last days of the cruise. Does Celebrity do this? Surely dislike paying full price and seeing them cheaper a few days later.

There has been a t-shirt sale on every Celebrity cruise we have taken. Usually two for $20.

The sales are usually a zoo. The sales are held on deck 10 between the Garden Cafe and pool are (on M class). They block of one of the pool entrances. People show up about an hour before the sale. I happened to stop by at that time and found a couple of shirts that I wanted, but the sales clerk would not let me purchase them, because the sale was to start an hour later. I could not take them with me, so when I came back an hour later, it was such a zoo that I gave up. After the crowd cleared some time later I stopped there and the shirts that I wanted were all gone.

Last month we had a T-shirt and sweatshirt sale out by the entrance to the Garden Pool on the Equinox last month on the last sea day. Prices were 50% off and a good deal if you liked the merchandise. Picked up a couple of T-shirts and sweatshirt. There was not too many people when I was there but the supply is very limited. Lucky for me they had what I wanted.

They also had a sale on the last day down by the casino and shops and like the poster above stated it was a zoo. Mostly cheap jewelry and cheap watches but it looked like they were selling a ton of stuff.

They'll have it but you'll be on the wrong cruise line to get the best selection and quality

Not only did they have the sale on our cruise (March 14-24) they had it multiple days. The prices didn't change. We had a bunch of OBC to use (I know....a terrible problem :-) ) so I scouted the t shirts, sweatshirts, etc. The selection was good and most was still available the last day of the cruise.

I'm always amused by these "end of cruise" sales. Unless they are getting rid of itinerary specific merchandise the it's all just a come on. It's not like they're closing or anything. They're going to have a ship full of new cruisers as soon as the last group gets off.
