Dawn's T-Rex Kids Pool

Recommended Posts

There are about 10 chairs and 2 loungers around the pools. There is one main pool for the kids to swim. On each side is a small circular pool about the size of a hot tub with small slides for the kids (not for swimming, just landing in from the slides)

This pool area is elevated from the deck below, almost like being on a very high stage area. The deck below has more chairs, but you can not see the kids from that area. The whole area is very small.

As you can see there are no chairs! They were basically located where I was taking the picture, and again there were very few. You can see in the right corner of the first photo thecorner of a chair. They were lined up in front of the pool. There was a railing right behind the chairs

Like the previous poster said, there are only a few chairs but when we were on the Dawn in January it was not very crowded and most times there was at least 1 extra chair available. When we went to use the pool it was hot outside and the hot tub was way to hot to sit in when it was so warm out and they drain all the TRex pool area at night.

Here is a shot showing the available seating at the T-Rex Pool

As mentioned by a previous poster, you can see that the loungers are sized for small children. The regular chairs on either side are adult-sized and are there so that parents can have a place to sit while properly supervising their children at play.

One thing to keep in mind...this is a designated children's area...adults should not be here unless they are with their small children. This isn't a place for adults to go in the hopes that they can score an open lounge chair!

Also...This area is physically separate from the main pool area...don't expect servers to be on hand looking for drink orders.
