Docking in Boston

We'll be landing in Boston on friday....May 9th on the Dawn. Our daughter will be picking us up. Does anyone have any idea what the procedure is? Do they have a parking lot nearby that she can wait for us.....having no idea what time we'll actually get off the ship. Thanks for any hints.

There is a municipal garage across the street. There are also some metered lots around the seaport area, one or two on Channel St. A couple of garages a little further up Northern Ave, if nothing is available closer, and wait for a phone call to come to the terminal. Google parking near Black Falcon Cruise Terminal.

 

Will you be self-disembarking? (carrying all your luggage off the ship?) Then just start disembarking when they announce the ship is cleared, and proceed to the street. If not self-disembarking, you've put your luggage out the night before, and after getting off the ship, and going through customs, you will go to a large area and look for your bags. At that time, call your daughter to come get you on the curb.

There is a " Cell phone lot " next street over she can wait in .

Tell her to ask a cop for directions or look for the limo's .

Thats a great help thanks. If the ship docks at 8am.......do you have any idea what time we would be able to meet her......only because she'll have to time off work.

The cell-phone lot is setup so passengers can call there ride when coming out of the terminal to queue them to drive around for pick-up. Just to clarify.
