Fabulous weather at all ports. Loved the ship, first time on Century.

CC balcony Deck 9, lots of storage. Food in MDR ok and loved Aqua Spa Café.

Murano twice; great food and service. No smoking !!!!!!!!! not even in casino!!!

Don't get there before 1 for embarkation. Disembarkation was a snap!

Some picky things like windows in Persian Gardens could be cleaner but the

lounges were hot, which I like!

Overall, lovely cruise even tho one dog at home licked a horrible hot spot and

had to be boarded at vet

We will be sailing in in two weeks,, We have a 11:30 flight out of LAX, based on your disembarkation would we have any trouble making it?

thanks

Dave

We drove to the port so we were in group #20 to disembark. We were supposed to disembark at 9:00 but I think it was closer to 10:00 before we were off the ship. Since you have a flight you will probably get to leave earlier than we did.

Disembarkation was a lot different today than it had been on my last 14 cruises. There were 4 or 5 customs agents on the ship. To me, it felt like disembarkation moved faster than usual.

Do you know what ship will be replaced once Century is gone?

Good morning.......trying to understand your question. Are you asking

if another ship will replace Century? No, right now there are no new

ships coming into the fleet. They will only have the 4 M class and the

5 S class. (and Xpedition)....so for the cruiseships, they will only have 9.

Or are you asking about this particular itinerary?

We too had a wonderful cruise, just the week before yours (March 29). My Cruise Critic review just posted:

Note: All of the reviews for the March 21 cruise were quite bad. I think they must have got their act together by the 2nd and 3rd cruise up the coast. Our cruise was practically problem free!

Ask for an 8am departure, or they will assign you one. Should not be off the ship any later than 9am. I would opt for a cab though. There is a cab station about 100 yards north of the departure area. A cab to LAX is about 20 minutes on Saturday morning and will only set you back $40-$50. I think the cabs have set rates to LAX.

we asked for 8:30 disembarkation and we were through customs and OFF ship by 8:50......fastest ever and I have been on many cruises...we had to meet on Deck 7, Theatre, got there at 8:20, expected to wait for our number, and they called us in 10 min......

I have had flight times at 10AM in Rome and Barcelona and got off ship at about 7:30 AM with my bag ready downstairs...maybe CC cabin?????

We will be on her for the April 26th sailing...were you not let on the ship BEFORE 1 pm???

why, because we stood in lines at CC separate checkin line/ once we got past there, we stood in line and crawled on 3 of those enclosed passageways until we finally got on ship.......we never go that early but we had new cruisers with us and I should have followed usual goal of getting there around

1PM to avoid all lines and "hurry up and wait mentality"....
