Our last two cruises were on the Golden. Just love that International Cafe (you don't pay for any of the food there, not even for the delicious chocolate chip cookies).

You will love Princess, Alaska and cruising! Our first cruise was a 7 day Southbound Inside Passage...now DH won't do any less than 10 days. We recently booked a 20 day (B2B) Caribbean for February. You've been warned!:eek:

As a side bar, I bought binoculars specifically for my Alaska cruise last year. I never took them out of my cabin.

We take 2 pairs and used them 8-10 hours a day on the balcony.

Would never leave home on an Alaskan cruise without them. ;)

We've got 2 pairs of compact binocs already on the list. Just received my new camera and lens to start learning a new set of controls. First ever cruise coming up in June on the Golden (our 30th), and it was a FINE excuse for a camera upgrade :D
