DaCruiserFromtheATX Posted April 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Does anyone know if Carnival has a updated dry dock schedule for this year? If so is the Dream on it?
kybluecruiser Posted April 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Dream was last year i believe. I am pretty sure it got the red frog rum bar and blue iguana tequila bar as well as a few other 2.0 uogrades.
WLHyatt Posted April 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2014 The Dream had a drydock in 2012, so it is not due for another until 2015 at the earliest. The Red Frog Rum Bar and Blue Iguana Tequila bar were installed, and they replaced the sushi bar with the Taste bar. No guys, no pub, no cantina (but it does have an older style burrito bar) and it kept the Mongolian Wok, which had been removed on Conquest class ships to make room for Guys. WLHyatt Posted April 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 16, 2014 It was removed from the Conquest, but may have been left on other ships.
Pete C Posted April 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Then how are they adding Seuss at Sea to the Dream? It was listed as a feature in a press release noted in this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2027033 "Carnival Dream also offers fun, supervised activities for children in three age groups and later this year will add Seuss at Sea, part of a fleetwide partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises featuring exciting youth, family, dining and entertainment experiences inspired by the amazing world of Dr. Seuss." Seuss at Sea has the Dr. Suess Bookville themed room that I can't imagine could be added without a drydock, but I could be wrong. Rare Fedic Posted April 16, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Seuss at Sea has the Dr. Suess Bookville themed room that I can't imagine could be added without a drydock, but I could be wrong. Bookville has only been announced for the Freedom at this point. Splendor has Suess At Sea (without Bookville) and it did not require a drydock to add.
