dondiane Posted April 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2004 Can only get second seating dinner on a cruise we are about to book. Do they give the 2nd seating a show before dinner? Or do you actually have to view them at 10-11pm with little ones??? Also are breakfast and lunches served in the dining rooms only or do they offer buffets. This is our first Disney cruise. dappledumpling Posted April 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2004 On second seating you will watch the show before dinner. They have timing down so there is plenty of time to enjoy the show and still be early for dinner. We prefer second seating as it gives us more time in port.. no need to rush back....... happy cruising
gizfish Posted April 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2004 On DCL the people with first seating watch the show while the second sitting people eat. Second sitting people watch the show while first sitting eats. For some families this actually works out better since the littlest kids can be awake and not cranky for a six o'clock or so show. Breakfast and lunch is available in one or two dining rooms (except on the day that a BBQ takes place on Castaway Cay). There is always a breakfast and lunch buffet available on the ship.
