No worries Paul. I give it to you, open, with a roll of tape. You close it up and add it to your pile.

Just think. everyone who looks at the recommended packing lists and says "WHAT in the world do you need duct tape on a cruise for?" will have a good answer now ; -)

Mick, you can start the Aussie concession. I volunteer to be the San Francisco connection. If this takes off shall we franchise or incorporate?

Herself has been having a blast buying stuff for the various themed nights on the 13-20th NY-Southampton run; apparently there's a Royal Ascot theme night and she wants hat 'fascinators' (whatever those are when they're at home). Me, I think mess kit will suit me for the formal nights. I can relax in the afternoon with a beer or two as I polish my shoes while she goes nuts trying to figure out what she wants to wear :)

I think they call them fascinators as they make weird and inappropriate hats look better or more fascinating..:p

Hey! No laughing at the lady's fascinator... That's serious business!!

The black and white ball is easy. For that matter you guys have it easy on ALL the formal nights. The task of finding an appropriate gown and a suitable hair ornament takes a fine eye and skilled accessorization.

Serious business, NOT to be take lightly!!

No indeed! That's where I recognize that as a guy, my part is simply to don the mess uniform and escort her to dinner. Anything other than "You look lovely, dear" is not required, and probably not safe. :D

Dead right, it is best not to comment and condemn yourself to isolation in the cabin.:D
