Cruzisme, the idea of the engraved brass bell is a lovely and unique retirement momento. So much better than the standard plaques I've seen. It sounds like your retirement was made even more fun by the special activities and tributes, especially from the children.

 

And now that you've retired, you can cruise whenever you want. You mentioned in a previous post that you were packing some items in a cruise suitcase. Is this just advance planning, or are you going to be cruising soon?

yes, I am packing for the Panama Canal cruise from Vancouver! We have been waiting for this cruise when DH and I both could do it together--now we can! In fact, I am trying to see who else is joining us but the roll call for our cruise date is pretty inactive!

 

today, DH saw a sundress and said 'try it on' and it fit perfectly! Happy, happy!
