hmtsai Posted May 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Due the expensive airfare on my disembarkation day, I plan to stay one more day post-cruise. Is it possible to extend one day to my purchased insurance? Otherwise, it won't cover my flight on the last day of my trip if anything happens, right? dread_pirate Posted May 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2014 Usually, yes, you can add a day. Just call your insurer (or go on line if you can modify your policy on line) and change the date & amounts if necessary. You may have to pay an additional premium (not likely but possible), but it shouldn't be a problem.

Happy2cruise Posted May 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2014 Have done this and all we did was contact the insurer giving them the new dates. They updated their records and sent a new confirmation showing correct dates.
purduemom1 Posted May 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2014 We have also done this without a problem. However, once your trip begins, I believe that you cannot make changes such as extending your return date.
