Alternatives to Carribean during Summer Months

Cruise Arizona

Recommended Posts

Summer is a good time for us to try to have a family reunion cruise. Our extented family is of 12, with one family of 5 in Detroit, and our family of 4 in Arizona. With my Mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and her DH living in Florida, Florida would seem a good departure point, but during the summer there is that whole hurrican thing. (Florida Sister-in-law is a school teacher)

So with-out killing our selves with airfare, what might you recommend as a destination/departure during the summer Besides Carribean or Alaska.

Although the possibility of a Hurricane still exsists, I would recommend Bermuda. Beautiful island, most cruises are there for a couple of days which allows a lot of relaxing time. Leaving from New York or New Jersey is very easy.
