Copenhagen Metro question

We fly in to Copenhagen on the morning of embarkment so were planning on getting the metro into town. Does anyone know if you can pay for your metro tickets by card? As we are only going to be there a couple of hours I'm hoping we can avoid changing money into DKK.

You need to buy tickets in advance - buy at the kiosk in terminal 3 and pay by credit card.

Are you heading directly to the port? Which port are you headed for? Might be better off, somebody who knows Copenhagen might be better at answering this, taking the train say to Osterport and from there either a taxi or the #26 bus which I believe goes by all the ports (although you have to get on the right #26 bus). Or do you wish to sightsee (with luggage?)
