On deck 6, two entrances - one in casino (midship) and one near theatre (fwd). Guest services desk is on deck 5.

Thanks hopefully we will secure the passes this time round :)

Can anyone tell me what deck one boards on the Epic when boarding. Haven't done the epic since 2012 on the Med. The reason for my question is i want to secure the posh passes.

Deck 7 on the promenade deck Everytime. But then I think it's because I wait until after the rush!

You'd need to go down to deck 5 for reception

Hope this is not a hijack, but you are good sources of info on my question, are the posh passes worth it on a med cruise?

If your cruise is like my Med cruise, with only one sea day, I would so no.

To us it was worth it on our med cruise, you where always guaranteed a lounger, nice comfy padded loungers, clamshell beds and misters etc. Always quite, lunch service to your lounger as well as bar service. We got to use it everyday even doing ports. This time i plan to spend lounger :)

Hi There Keith.W

We are saling on the Epic in a few weeks, we got the posh pass the 1st time we ever cruised on her but did not realise where and what you got, and we found the reception staff unhelpful on that cruise so we got a refund on the pass as there was no explaining of what the pass entailed, all that said we have since been on the Epic twice and not managed to get a posh pass, what do you actually get and where do you go with yor pass.

Thanks

Juls 1964:)

Hi Juls, to get to Posh we took the forward elevators up to deck 16, went up one flight of stairs as the elevator did not go to deck 17 unless you had a heaven Key and you will see a frosted door with Posh Beach Club on it. Enter your key into the slot and you will gain access.

From the pool level take the glass elevator from the pool deck that's non heaven up to the sun deck, leave the sun deck through the double doors and got straight across the hall to the posh door. Sometimes the glass heaven lift would work and other days it didn't with our room key.

Posh gets you a quite spacious 2 level area with various types of padded sun loungers and day beds, it also has covered clam shells as well as seats that can be covered with umbrellas as will as misters to keep one cool.

You are free to help yourself to extra beach towels without charge, You have a full bar with waiter service although it is hit and miss at times and somtimes quicker to go to the bar.

You get lunch brought to you lounger from the suite lunch menu

All this is for 59 dollars for the week.

Unfortunately no pool, but your only 1 deck down to the pool so not too far, i know on the newer ships like breakaway and getaway they added hot tubs to the beach club, i am surprised epic hasn't brought one up there as there is plenty of space.

Also included was the DH's favorite someone spritzing him with water in the afternoons when the waiter brought over drinks or food. When it was not too busy the waiters walked around and gave you a spritz as well. He was in heaven!
