QE 2 on her World Cruise will call at Sydney

 

Wed 15 Feb 2006 to Fri 7 Feb 2006.......

 

and then again......

 

Tue 20 Feb 2007 to Fri 23 Feb 2007..........

 

joining her in Port on 20th Feb 2007 will be QM 2,

also doing a World Cruise.

 

'The 345mtr long Queen Mary 2 has been given permission to dock at the RAN fleet base at Garden Island on her maiden visit to Sydney.'

 

What a day that will be for Sydney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy to know that although I'll be in Oz at that time, I'll have already left Sydney. I'd hate to be there when those two huge ships are in port! Yikes!

Would like to know where you found the information about the QM2 visiting Sydney. There was an article about it in the Daily Telegraph yesterday but today on the radio they were denying it is going to happen. Any clues?
