jp12687 Posted May 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Hey, I am staying in a room with 2 other people and we would like to put our 1 bottle of wine each and our 12 cans of soda into one bag with all of our stuff so it doesn't take up a ton of room in each of our suitcases...is that allowed or do they have to be in separate bags? LilMissScareAll Posted May 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2014 You can put them all on `in one as long as you're all checking in together. I always put mine & my husband's in the same bag

Beverages are to be carried on, not in checked bags. But, yes, as long as you are all checking in/boarding at the same time, all the beverages can be in one bag. Ehpride Posted May 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Sure. We've had 3 bottles (3 adults) in the same carry on bag and it was fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shepard Posted May 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 24, 2014 (edited) Does anyone know if they check the bottles. I wanna bring some Rum but I'm not sure if it's allowed. I know wine can be brought on but I'm not sure about rum. Also do they check your bag to see what your carrying on. You can purchase it to be delivered to your room once you are at sea. http://www.carnival.com/FunShops/brand/portside-liquor/liquor People do smuggle liquor on board, but it will be taken and held until the end of the cruise if found. Yes, they check the bags and any liquids they find in them...liquor bubbles differently than water, so they can tell. Also, they are on to the trick of putting liquor in a wine bottle...saw a few people get busted just last month in Port Canaveral trying this. No worries about Rum. they have plenty on board and can buy a bottle at bon voyage or buy it by the glass if you want. Only Wine can be brought onboard
