Cell service aboard Navigator in Galveston

Can you get decent cell service aboard Navigator while still at the port in Galveston?

Since we do not know who your cell provider is or what kind of phone you have, I would check with your cell provider to see what their coverage area is

Verizon works well for an hour or two off the port. Don't know exactly how far out..... :)

AT&T works fine in port and for about an hour out of port...

You also can get a usable signal while you are anchored off shore waiting for the fog to lift:eek:! No problem with Verizon.
