Gem suite 9000 noise

Hi

Have just booked cruise next fall on the gem

Was wondering if anyone has been in cabin 9000 and heard noise from the stardust theatre below

If there is sound at night it won't matter as I will most likely be there watching the show but was wondering is there is any disturbance from rehearsals ect

Hello, I recently had suite 9000 on the Jewel. You could definitely hear music from the theater. This was mainly an issue in the afternoon for rehearsals and the shows at night. We don't spend a lot of time in the cabin in the afternoons so that was not a problem for us. If you like to nap in the afternoon or go to bed early this may be a problem for you. The balcony was wonderful and we spent a lot of time outside. I would not have a problem booking this suite again. Hope this helps.

We had that suite last year. We could hear music occasionally in afternoon and during shows. Not floor vibrating annoying music, but like a radio turned down very low. It didnt bother us at all (although I did find myself sitting in the casino one night humming the songs we had heard them so many times....). If we turned on the TV or our own Ipod, it wasnt as if the music was loud enough that it competed with whatever we were listening to. Just light background sound. Never heard anything late at night or early morning.

Thanks for letting me know about the music

Won't be a problem as I won't be needing an afternoon nap and will be out and about when the shows are on

Anyway so long as there are no drum solo acts the background music will be fine:D
