Best beach near Villefranche

Hi

 

We are travelling in August and cruise will port in Villefranche for the day.

 

We aim to get the bus to Monaco, to walk around and see the palace, then would like to goto a beach as our children who are 12 & 15 would enjoy this.

 

Is the beach by the port the best to goto, or can anyone recommend any others.

I think there's a beach in Villefranche when you tender....It's small, though...

I am aware of the one by the port but perhaps thought there might be a nicer beach.

 

Are there any other recommendations from anyone?

There is this one right by the train station.

and this one we saw as the boat started to leave. Not sure if it's a public beach or not or what to ask for when you get a taxi.

Just a thought, but have you had a look at the port area via Googlemaps?!
