BritChickBN1 Posted June 6, 2014 #52 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Bermuda! It's cleaner, feels much safer and there is so much you can do in 3 days.
pathubia Posted June 6, 2014 #53 Share Posted June 6, 2014 BERMUDA!!! Been there once by air and 7 times by sea....Cruised there in May, cruising back again in October. I actually just remembered I cruised to the Bahamas on the Big Red Boat back in 1988, the private island was fun, and I won $1000 on a quarter slot machine at the Paradise Island Casino but still like Bermuda better. Barb Nahoumi Posted June 6, 2014 #54 Share Posted June 6, 2014 our very first cruise was the Jewel to Bahamas. Our first stop Cocoa Beach and what to our wondering eyes should appear as we first view this beach a used tampon. Can you SAY EWWW! Was so not impressed! EWWW, EWWW, EWWW. When we went on the Jewel about three years ago, there was a warning of a jellyfish invasion at Coco Beach. A sign was posted at the excursion desk. We enjoyed an ECO excursion on the Banana River, in lieu of coco beach.
Chesneygirl Posted June 6, 2014 #55 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Another vote for Bermuda! Bermuda is in a whole different league WAY ABOVE the Bahamas.

Rare conandrob240 Posted June 7, 2014 #57 Share Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) If you are asking which ports are better-of course, Bermuda wins hands down. Simply gorgeous. However, which is the better cruise may depend on many other factors. We just got off BA to Bermuda with 3 adults. Perfect cruise for us. We are sailing again in Nov with 10 people ages ranging from 4-70. Bermuda wouldn't have been right for that group. That cruise is all about the ship and we will get off only at NCL private island. The rest of the time is about the kids getting to spend all their time in the clubs they love and the adults relaxing not too far away in the pool or decks. It would have been a hassle with all those people and Bermuda. The two little kids hate the beach. Too much running around so Bahamas itinerary is the right one for that group.
