DrJW Posted June 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Do any of my fellow Cruise Critic Members have any thoughts.....on the tour company Shore Excursions. We are planning a cruise to South America. Shore excursions offers numerous tours [smaller than the Oceania group tours]..but I have been told by several past passengers that they have had poor experiences with Shore Excursions..Would very much appreciate any feedback. We did a Rio to Valparaiso cruise and never used "O" for any tours -- all were private and all were better than "O". In fact on our tour in Puerto Arenas -- we skipped the city tour until last and did the Penguins first and had the entire area to ourselves. As we finished -- 6 big "O" buses pulled up and released the 300 touristas. So go with the local guides... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
