Just off the Vision, ask away..

Recommended Posts

Hi...we are sailing on a five day on the vision in October. Wondering if Giovanni's is open for lunch on embarkation day? Thank you!

Vision has not been opening any specialty venue on embarkation day. The Park Café is the best option for those that like to avoid the Windjammer. The Café Latitudes only offer cookies, muffins and cakes with purchase on Vision, as it is a small venue.

Vision does open both Giovanni's and Chop's for lunch on sea days.

Izumi does a morning demonstration one day and is closed for lunch and then does a sushi making class for $25 on a sea day with a full lunch offered of the sushi produced along with a popular dessert usually only available in the evenings.

I'm currently in Ocean View and have an opportunity to upgrade to Balcony for 2x the price. It's been asked over and over again but for FT cruisers, is the upgrade worth it on the Vision?

Brandon

I wouldn't for the Vision but thats just my opinion..

I think the closing of venues on ships sailing out of the USA might have to do with being prepared for the surprise USPH inspections they are always subject to when sailing from a US port.

Vision was last inspected on the 8th of May, 2014 and received a perfect score of 100.

That said the report still had recommendations as the controls are very comprehensive.
