Jeanne S Posted August 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Originally when we booked this cruise in January were told sail time was at 10pm. Then RCCL sent a letter the time would be changed to 6pm. However, on the web site it has 6pm as the boarding time, not departure. Has this changed? What time is the ship actually sailing out of Cape Liberty?
suziq14 Posted August 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2005 We were on Voyager June 26 to Bermuda and it sailed at 6pm. We got to Cape Liberty at about 12:30-12:45 pm and got on the ship by 2-2:15. Hope this helps!:)
Jeanne S Posted August 4, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Thanks! You have been most helpful. What were the dinner times?
suziq14 Posted August 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Main seating dining is 6pm and late seating is 8pm ( I think) We were main seating and we were always done by 7:30 or so, but late might actually be 8:30pm.
skiiergirl Posted August 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2005 suz...how did you like that trip? What did you like and what did you not like?
suziq14 Posted August 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2005 It was a great trip. We love Bermuda but it was eleven years since we had been there on a cruise and I couldn't wait to do it again. I would have preferred a 7 night to the 5 night but we were on Voyager last year to Canada and we just love the ship. Food is not the greatest. It's good and it's not lacking in quantity but it's nothing out of this world. The service and hospitality of the crew is excellent. Everyone goes out of their way for you and makes you feel like a VIP. Our kids (10 and 7) did the kids' club this year and we couldn't get them out. They'd go mostly after dinner and end up staying for the late night party. Bermuda is the best. It's so beautiful and clean; unlike other islands, you don't fear for your life or have to fight off people selling their wares.
