Try changing the bills for coins at the reception desk on the riverboat. All the cruise lines that we have traveled with provided change for us.

That's a great idea. Not like they don't know that people will be asking for coins! It will certainly help if we can get them every couple of days instead of toting around all those coins!!!!

The smallest Euro bill is a fiver, so the 1 and 2 Euro coins are widely available.
