Oh yes, almost forgot about the serenity deck. We walked up there exploring and grapped one of those cabana chairs? Sat for a few minutes but it was too windy and quite chilly that day. Didnt go back.

FOOD- We ate dinner in the gold dining room each night. DH skipped one night and ordered room service.

He loves the tuna sandwiches. Their service was excellent also. Back to the dining room. Most of the food was delicious, especially the seafood. I dont particulary care for the new menu. To me there isnt much of a variety for the main entree and desserts.

I do like the new "for the table" menu however. These include garden salad, flatbread and a couple of items I cant think of right now. The flatbread was very good.

I enjoyed the BBQ ribs but not the pasta dishes and I like pasta. I didnt see fried chicken as an entree.

The new menu incorporated a port menu too. It's a dish that related to the port of that day. My daughter tried some of them along with the regular entree.

We ate breakfast brunch in silver dining room once with our complimentary drink. I had the steak and eggs. Also ate breakfast in dining room a couple of times and a couple times at the buffet. Buffet's omelets were good as well as the other food but I prefer the main dining for breakfast.

For the most part, ate lunch at buffet a couple times on port days when not eating those tasty Guys Burgers!

DS and I tried the fried oysters and fish at the Fish&Chip on Lido. It was just okay to me, but he liked

it. I was disappointed with the pizza at the 24 hr Pizza Place. I like the old pizza. Carnival please bring back the old pizza! The new crust is tooooo thin! The flatbread's crust in the dining room was thicker than these pizzas. The deli's sandwiches were good.

The ice cream on the Lido ice cream machine was not very flavorable. Very bland, another disappointment.

I sampled a free taste of finger food in the promenade area. Oh! I didnt include the Big screen under entertainment. DS and DD went together to watch a movie. Said the popcorn was good and they give you blanket to cover up with. I didnt see Tea Time in the Funtime, not sure if this is offered anymore.

DEBARKATION- Before bed the night before debarking the ship we packed and set our luggage outside the cabin door. When I booked this cruise the itinerary looked too busy and I though we would get little rest with only two sea days and five ports back to back but that was not the case. This has been the best cruise of all past cruises. The ports were all wonderful, the ship beautiful and everyone seemed happy. Sad the cruise was over.

Packing our clothes. The purple beads on nightstand was how the roll call group identified ourselves. Guess what was in the bottom of that garment bag on the bed????

Very early the next morning we gathered our carryons ons and waited in the theater for our luggage ticket color to be called.

Debarking was a breeze. The worst part was finding our many many luggages at the terminal revolving belt and having that poor porter stack them all on his cart.

Safe cruise parking arrived about fifteen minutes after we got outside the terminal.

I just caught up and finished your review and really enjoyed it and your pictures are beautiful. We were just on Liberty in April too, for a Western Caribbean, and believe we got off the day you got on. :) We did the Eastern Caribbean, almost the same itinerary (ours went to HMC instead of Nassau, but we've been to Nassau too), on Glory in May 2010, so I always enjoy reading reviews of ships and or itineraries that we've been on to relive our cruises. Thank you for taking the time to do a review.

The thing I found tucked in the bottom of the garmet bag was my toiletry case!!!!!!!!

7 whole days without my stuff. Oh well, I survived without them.

I knew I packed it before we left home for Miami.

Thank for taking the time to post. FYI, I learned, the hard way I might add, to write my review in microsoft word and then copy and paste. That way I can save as I type and if I have internet issues or need to go, I can just save it and pick up later. I'll use put a symbol where I want to insert a picture to remind me when I go to post the review here.

Ditto...And you can spell check it.

Great review and love your pics...I love San Juan and your pics took me back.

ENTERTAINMENT- Lots of venues and music throughout the ship. These are what we or I attended.

Venetian Palace Theater- Welcome Aboard Show, Love and Marriage game, Magician (he creeped me out), Legends (very good show), Bingo (DH and DD),

Michael Jackson Thriller class (funny), one or two variety shows and as mentioned VIFP party.

Comedy Club- DH and I went to one of the adult comedy shows. A little too vulgar for me but funny. Go early if you wish to go to either. One night we attempted and it was fulled to capacity. The night we did get in, we were 30 minutes early and managed to get a spot in line. The night we didnt get in we went to the Karaoki Bar but it was too smokey. Then sat in the piano bar for awhile. He pianist was entertaining.

Did you see Music Boardwalk Cover Band? They played right outside the casino. I hope you did because they are a great group...

First off, great review!!!:D:D You have a beautiful family.

As usual, Liberty gets phenomenal reviews.

May need to look at this one for next year:D

One comment I noticed from you, that the water was COLD at all of the islands.:eek:

We are leaving next Saturday on the Breeze, to the Southern Caribbean and I was hoping for cool/refreshing, and not ICE water. lol

Last year we went to Tortola and it was FREEZING.

They may have been there but I didnt catch the name of any of the bands. I remember hearing an R&B and a Latin band.

Thank you KP from CT for the compliments. I dont do cold very well so whats cold to me may be cool to others. My kids got use to it the water temperature right away. We cruised in April and that happened to be the week the South had unseasonably cool weather.

The temperature at each port was perfect but the water was still "cold"

Grand Turk's water wasnt too too cold. Your cruise is in July so I'm sure the water will be refreshingly warm/cool. Enjoy your cruise.

Beautiful family. Your daughter reminds me of Gabrielle Union from the Tyler Perry movies.

Thank you. She hears that quite often and will be tickled to hear it again. She is a fan of Gabrielle Union. Thanks for reading.
