Best hotel for night before - Tampa?

Not going to be doing any sightseeing before - really just need a clean, comfortable room. Flying in, so near the airport is a good option too.

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point - and it was great - just did not know if there was anything closer or with a view of the port. I know the ship docks right up against the restaurants there, but I never noticed the hotel situation.

Hi, do you remember what taxi charged for trip to port from your hotel ?

 

I/we have a reservation at Chase (LMT got it priced right) close where you stayed ...... I might keep or change the reservation to something else ...... depends what reviews will show up.

I have not seen any posts about any hotels in Tampa with the view of the ships.

 

Looking at the map, there is a bunch of hotels downtown not far from the cruise terminal.

We just booked the Hilton Garden Inn. It is near the airport and has a free shuttle. It has great reviews on Trip Advisor..and is only $86 a night....:o:o:o

Both. They have a promo now until December. For those that are driving the promo also includes free parking for 7 days. P1 is the cruise promo code.
