jfeathe Posted June 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Yep, they are great. Saved $1100 last week on our two cabins. That's going to take care of all shore excursions, tips, and any expenses on board. It will be nice not to have a bill when we disembark!! mayfair0325 Posted June 17, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 17, 2014 How exactly do you go about finding these price drops? Any info appreciated! Sent from my SPH-L900 using Forums mobile app
SouthernNSassy Posted June 17, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Lucky duck! Lol! Mine has been holding steady at a higher rate. I 'm hoping to see some movement closer to time...we sail on the Dream in September.
lcmjcm Posted June 18, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 18, 2014 How do you find these deals. We are booked for Sept. Do I just do an online search and see if my room type is cheaper? Then how do I get credits? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Carnival_Brides Posted June 18, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 18, 2014 How do you find these deals. We are booked for Sept. Do I just do an online search and see if my room type is cheaper? Then how do I get credits? Sent from my iPhone using Forums The easiest way I've found is to do a "mock booking" and see if there's a price difference. If you're before final payment just call Carnival or your TA and they should alter the price. If you're after final payment and booked Early Saver you just fill out the price protection form. If you're not booked Early Saver than you should stop checking prices.

kona_wahine Posted June 18, 2014 #12 Share Posted June 18, 2014 We don't cruise until April, so have several months before we will see any price drops. I do think we will though. Paid off the cruise with gift cards and 10% bonus! Have FTTF booked. Now just waiting.......;)
buddylover Posted June 18, 2014 #13 Share Posted June 18, 2014 I think we ALL love price drops......that is FABULOUS!! Enjoy your OBC!!
cruisinnewbie629 Posted June 18, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 18, 2014 I thought our price would never drop, but persistence paid off this morning for us too ;) $186.00 OBC for our Extended Balcony on the Pride. Thank you Early Saver!!!!
CrusinCyndi Posted June 18, 2014 #15 Share Posted June 18, 2014 We have 4 cabins booked. This morning there was a price drop. What's interesting though it's not for all the cabins we have booked. 2 of the cabins are 2 people in a cove. 1 cabin is a cove but with 4 people and the other is an inside with 1 person. The price drop is only working out for the 2 cabins that have 2 people in them. Weird. We have made final payment so will gladly take the $54 as OBC for 2 of the cabins. So I have saved almost $2,000 total since the original booking. Since we are paying for all 4 cabins, it's a great savings. I like booking ES. 618mom Posted June 18, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 18, 2014 I just got $80 OBC the other day! I like that I am past final payment and instead of knocking the balance down I gt OBC.
mayfair0325 Posted June 18, 2014 #17 Share Posted June 18, 2014 I called about a price drop yesterday. And she said we weren't eligible. But offered upgrade if I was interested. Not interested in paying more! Any suggestions? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Forums mobile app
onewildrice Posted June 19, 2014 #18 Share Posted June 19, 2014 Yay! I had sent in for a $28 credit on Monday. Heard today that we were approved for it. BUT on fareviewer today there was a new rate that was $280 cheaper....sent in the form. Went to look at my booking (for the $28) and they had already given me the $280. Thanks to whomever in Carnival did that for me!!
