Departing Veendam in Quebec City

We will be departing the Veendam after an overnight stay in Quebec. Does anyone know how early you can leave the ship on the final morning if you take off your own luggage? The itinerary shows 6am arrival but we are already there ;). We want to leave early so we can head to Montreal.

I would guess around 7:00. The ship has to be cleared by port authorities first.

The ship will already have been cleared the previous day.

And they do not have a dead line for people coming and going all night.

So as long as you are able to carry off all your own luggage, you can leave as early as you want.

Breakfast will be early that day so you can have a good meal before you leave. As a rule HAL wants all self-disembarking passengers off as soon as possible and since you are overnighting -- that can happen as early as 6 AM.

The ship will have cleared and Immigration Inspection may have occurred but what about Customs?

All those departing guests/crew are dragging luggage that has not cleared customs.

We are on the June 28 Veendam cruise and have a 6am flight out of Quebec on July 5. I called and they said you can get off the ship anytime from the day we arrive in Quebec, but to ask if they can arrange a cab or car to get us to the airport during the night

That is a good point sail7seas makes how customs will work as we would already have cleared immigration.
