airlinerob Posted June 23, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted June 23, 2014 We took the tour, but likely wouldn't take another tour of Grand Turk in the future. To be honest, there isn't much on the island. The beach is the best thing about the island. Next time, we will likely stay closer to the port and just stay on the beach all day. But, it was our first time there, and we're glad we took a tour. http://s28.photobucket.com/user/TheCruiseBoys/media/2014-06-07%20Carnival%20Breeze/DSC00338_zpsa8d0e7ef.jpg.html http://s28.photobucket.com/user/TheCruiseBoys/media/2014-06-07%20Carnival%20Breeze/DSC00344_zps90d60052.jpg.html Old Salt Ponds - http://s28.photobucket.com/user/TheCruiseBoys/media/2014-06-07%20Carnival%20Breeze/DSC00349_zpse7356a0c.jpg.html Back to the ship - http://s28.photobucket.com/user/TheCruiseBoys/media/2014-06-07%20Carnival%20Breeze/DSC00357_zpscd3d2e12.jpg.html The beach still looks beautiful - http://s28.photobucket.com/user/TheCruiseBoys/media/2014-06-07%20Carnival%20Breeze/DSC00358_zps7379f269.jpg.html

airlinerob Posted June 25, 2014 Author #50 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Loving the photos! Keep them coming. I'm doing this same cruise next month and was wondering how much was the taxi for the private tour. Did you have to pay $25pp at Casa de Campo? Did you have access to their beach and/or pool? Any info you can provide will be great. Thanks!! I'll update more tomorrow. :-) Regarding the taxi, there were 4 of us, and I believe we paid $25 per person for the entire tour. We didn't pay anything at Casa de Campo, but we were only there to tour and look at the hotel then the area - we didn't have access to their pool, etc.
