Is there anything to consider with mini-suite C229 on the Island?

According to this site it's a completely uncovered quad occupancy cabin & you can view the general location from the photos.

Thanks for that link. But doesn't it show C229 to be a covered balcony? Am I reading the chart wrong?

 

Yes, it is fully covered ... you are reading that site correctly.

Oops...used the cabin category's yellow color & not the balconies "covered" blue color. :o :o

The aft facing partially covered Caribe & Baja decks with loungers was a great spot and was our inside cabin's "balcony". ;)

 

Sounds like a great place to hang out as we go through the locks..

It worked well for us in Alaska & helped shelter us from the environment. Sailing through the Canal we moved around to different locations & particularly enjoyed the forward facing Baja & Caribe viewing decks accessed through the "not so secret" doors. ;)
