They have a great price on the cruise and cabin we want, but we have never booked online before. Help!! BLStokes23 Posted June 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Have you checked some of the other online agencies too? I've not booked with cruise411, but have booked several cruises with BestPriceCruises, CruiseQuick and BuyCruises with good results. It does pay to research as many of the online agencies that you can. Make sure that the quotes you receive include the port charges and taxes. You may also want to try doing a search on cruise411 on the cruise board. Good luck with your booking.
CruisinMatt Posted June 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2004 I get great prices and customer service from icruise.com HAL Oosterdam - Mexican Riveria
wwinfl91 Posted June 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Another online travel agency we have used a lot is vacationstogo.com. We have booked our last 6 cruises through them and have been very satisfied with their prices and service. They have a good web site for checking prices for cruises. Have a great next cruise. letsgonow Posted June 18, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2004 We have used cruise411.com and been very happy with them. I often check vacationstogo.com and their 90 day ticker, but haven't booked with them. Bestpricecruises.com is also one of our favorites. Hey Warren - we should be on the Maasdam right now!!!! Happy cruising!!
alwaysfrantic Posted June 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2004 I have been pricing my trip in the last few day to see if there was a discount worth transferring the reservation from HAL to a TA. cruise411.com was by far the cheapest of those I heard from. I had expected cruisequick.com to be the cheapest, but cruise411/com was $100 cheaper than that one. I did research them a bit and they have a satisfactory rating with the BBB, having only a single complaint lodged against the company in the last 3 years, and that was resolved. alwaysfrantic Posted June 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Forgot...if you are worried about the online part, you can call and take care of it that way. I believe they have people available 24/7 to help.

Sue's Mom Posted June 19, 2004 #9 Share Posted June 19, 2004 Sorry to 'hijack' this post. Alwaysfrantic - I am interested in "BBB", coming from the UK it is something I have not heard of before. Can you please post some more information please.
Randyk47 Posted June 19, 2004 #10 Share Posted June 19, 2004 BBB = Better Business Bureau. It is a "watch dog" organization that's been around since the early 1900's. Some put great store in BBB ratings, some don't. See here for more information: www.bbb.org Cruisingangel's posts do raise an interesting point and that's simply that you have to shop around on each and every cruise. Since I haven't reached final payment on my cruise next year I've continued to check off and on with other providers to see if I can beat the very good deal I have right now. In the case of Cruise411 and CQ, CQ stills beats Cruise411 by $400. Again, that's just for my particular cruise and cabin selection. As Cruisingangel points out she was able to beat CQ for her particular combination. Research, shop, shop some more and then select. It doesn't appear to me that there's one place that is always going to be the lowest all the time.
