Noreen411 Posted July 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2014 Hi I've been to Bermuda a few times and haven't done a ship sponsored excursion finding the island very easy to navigate and do what we wanted without an excursion. My friend that I'm sailing with on the Explorer to Bermuda suggested we do a snorkel excursion through the ship. I've done Royal's excursions in places other than Bermuda in the past and don't mind them, they usually have been very good. I see there are a few snorkel excursions offered: 1 - Turtle Cove Glass Bottom Boat and Snorkel 2 - Devil's Isle Cruise beach snorkel 3 - Catamaran Coral Reef Snorkel 4 - Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck snorkel Has anyone ever done any of these? Would you recommend one over the other? Would you recommend a private snorkel excursion instead? Which one? Thank you in advance Noreen
allentownahoy Posted July 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2014 I have only done the Devils Isle and liked it very much. I have done it twice. This is one of those rare cases where the ship tour was not any more expensive than independent tours. It has the eddied advantage of docking right by the ship. Can you tell me which tour operator/boat name RCCL uses for the Devils Isle tour please? Thanks much! Donna
