Ft Lauderdale to Port of Miami

Last minute cruise on 8/24. We are looking at flying into Ft Lauderdale but sailing out of Miami, much more reasonable from Vegas. What is the best transportation from Ft Lauderdale to Miami? We are staying in Miami a few days prior to cruising and then booking our return to Ft Lauderdale through Carnival after the cruise. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Define "best". A limo, sipping champagne works for me.
