Which night are fireworks on the Getaway?

We're cruising Aug. 9 and we're curious which night of the 7-night cruise they tend to do the fireworks?

We're trying to plan our evenings (dinners, shows, our 5-yr-old hanging with us or at Splash Academy) and want to make sure we choose accordingly.

If it helps, the itin is this:

Day 1: Miami - leave at 4pm

Day 2: At sea

Day 3: At sea

Day 4: St. Maarten - 8am-6pm

Day 5: St. Thomas - 8am-4pm

Day 6: At sea

Day 7: Nassau - 12pm-7pm

Day 8: Miami - arrive at 8am

Even if you're uncertain, any educated guesses? (We're novice cruisers.)

Much obliged.

Tuesday, Day 4, the same night as the 80's party.

Thanks LrgPizza! I remember your counsel on the drink package a few weeks back (when we were still thinking about booking), which pretty much convinced us to partake in the ease of the UBP.

Thanks much.

...so the evening of St. Marteen?

Yes...evening of St Maarten. My brother had such a good time at the 80's party that he didn't make it off the ship in St Thomas the next day ;).

Really looking forward to seeing this. Our first week will be leaving St. Maarten, and the next week will be St. Thomas.

Is there a better area, from a cabin perspective, to view the fireworks? We have a B6 on the starboard side for the first week and then an aft balcony for the seconds week.

Thanks!

We just got off the Getaway a few days ago.

Day 4-like others have said. They start around 10:30. Fireworks at sea do not go as high as those on land.... I have no clue why, but they don't so you might not be able to see them well from balconies on the other side of the ship. We had a port side balcony and had a great view of our show and the show the Disney ship did before ours started.

Do they have fireworks on the EPIC as well ? And is it just certain cruises?

No fireworks on the Epic, only on the Breakaway and Getaway. All cruises on the -aways have a fireworks show, weather permitting.
