cazzie107 Posted July 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Ive started sorting my clothes for my cruise (8th aug arcadia to norway) im just wondering how the formal evenings work like do you have to book? is there more than 1 set time ect, my husband doesnt have a dinner suit but a very smart black suit, will this do? starting to feel bit confused. cb at sea Posted July 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Not sure how Arcadia does it, but most cruiselines it's the same as any evening. You simply dress up for dinner. You don't "book" anything...just go to your regular dining room at your regular time. Yes..a black suit is perfect.
CruiserBruce Posted July 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Some research on the P&O board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38 would be helpful.

Some cruise lines will not let you enter without a dinner jacket & a tie.
