chrisc71 Posted July 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2014 In Bermuda it can be either or once in a while both. There is no schedule.

js Posted July 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Last year, we booked port side and docked facing the ocean. I am on starboard side this year and will see how we end up in less than 2 weeks :)
Tiggertastic Posted July 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2014 its hit and miss, no guarantee which way they will dock but they do mix it up

TravelJoe Posted July 29, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Depends which lifeboats they need to test. Exactly .... Week of 7/6, we docked port to port, and with the DOS and it's balcony, we had an awesome view of just pure ocean and not the front (or back) of another ship. cb at sea Posted July 30, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) If you have more than 1 port, the Captain will try to dock with both sides to land at least once. It's a 50/50 chance. Port means "left"...it really has nothing to do with the dock. There are views everywhere...not just facing land! You will be in a harbor, so there are sights to see everywhere.
