Journey May 7 Med Cruise

Well, we will just move forward...I guess what really shocked and upset us so much yesterday was that we had just, the day before, contacted our TA about the possibility of making our 5/7 cruise a BtoB and she called AZ on it on Monday afternoon. They gave her a price for making it BtoB..now, wouldn't you have thought that AZ would have told her THEN that they had cancelled

the May 7 cruise? You certainly can't make it BtoB if the 5/7 cruise isn't there!!

If they had sent her the letter by then she had not yet received it or she would have known the 5/7 was gone!

Oh, well,

Another cruise will turn up. Would be interesting to hear what others have decided on and/or found to substitute with.

We've been told by AZ that they will reimburse us for cancelation fees for our airline tickets.

They will pay up to $500 per person for cancelation fees for air and hotels. We haven't received that yet. We did get a credit on our credit card for the AZ deposit. The letter said it would be a full refund, but they kept $50 out of each of our deposits? They promised a full refund!! TA will follow up on that. What away to do business!

 

We're thinking about taking a Celibrity cruise next fall to Canada/New England instead. I hope we have better luck with that.

THEY cancel the cruise and they KEEP some of the money??

If they've cancelled the sailing, I'd surely think you should get a full refund on your deposit. I'd have your TA bug Azamara about that. Good luck to you !
