1). What did you think of the aft suite(penthouse I presume)?

2). How was your boarding and debarkation experience?

3). What did you think of the butler and concierge? Some people have said they feel the aft suites are neglected by the staff being they are so far away from butler stations and such.

We were a couple traveling with no children and finding peace and quiet was very important to me on this vacation. The aft penthouse, 10228, was perfect for us. Very quiet cabin. The balcony was huge with two padded loungers, 2 chairs, and a small table. Can you say chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on the balcony as we sailed off from Boston? I know you can! We moved the bench at the foot of the bed to over behind the dining table in the suite to give us a little more walking room. Plenty of storage space. Truly we ended up spending more space on the balcony than in the cabin. The aft view is amazing, but (and I know this is gonna sound stupid of me) VERY NOISY. The only day it had that sleep inducing effect was Thursday as we were headed back to Boston. I guess I never anticipated how noisy it was. That being said, I would book it again in a heartbeat. This was my first time experiencing suite perks on NCL and the increased cost of the trip was worth it just for the perk of being able to have breakfast and lunch at Cagney's. Do you know of those personal water bottles with fans attached to them? I'd probably bring one if I sail this area of the ship again, because on the way back from Bermuda, it got mighty hot out there sometimes. Stretching out on your lounger, misting yourself while snacking on chilled fruit slices...can you feel it now?

We arrived about 11:30 at Black Falcon terminal. Easy to find a porter, but once upstairs, we couldn't find the suite check in, so we checked in with everyone else, but then found the suite waiting area. Suite passengers were indeed being escorted party by party onboard the ship, so with the limited number of butlers, it took a little while. I would say we waited for about 1/2 an hour. Then one of the butlers, not ours, escorted us to our suite to leave carry on luggage, and then took us to Cagney's for lunch. The day of our arrival in Bermuda, we had received a notice that suite passengers would meet in the theater at 11 for priority disembarkation. Easy peasy. The day of our arrival back in Boston, we could report to the Spinnaker any time between 9-10 and we had priority disembarking. We were taken out a sep. exit and went right to the front of the people with self disemarkation.

We didn't have much interaction with the concierge at all other than at the times mentioned above. I have been to Bermuda many times in the past and I pre booked all our specialty dining. I can not say enough about our butler Jennifer - warm, gracious, humorous, always looking for what else she could do to make our vacation more perfect than it was. Hugs all around the last morning and a few tears on my part.

I would book again in a hearbeat if NCL were not outlawing cigs and ecigs on balconies. I'm going to give it a while and see if they modify their policy to allow ecigs.

DO IT, BOOK IT, YOU DESERVE IT!

Imho spring for the upcharge for le bistro for a special occasion....tho our favorite was moderno....we rarely buy great quality meat and this meal totally exceeded our expectations...our first ncl was an aft penthouse and while it was wonderful we were pretty much ignored by the butler and did not need the concierge for much....we upgraded last minute so did not pay the full fare...cagneys is nice but not worth so much more money....our 2nd we were in an obstructed view and were just as happy....had a large window and you could not see the obstruction when looking straight out...we did miss the balcony but this was a spur of the moment trip and we need an hc cabin and they were able to offer one. Plan to go again this fall and will go for a balcony and not miss a suite...and YES. They have the full deal.for salmon at breakfast...my husband has it every day and sometimes twice....

I searched for this and received conflicting posts, so I am wondering if maybe you know.

Can you purchase the three day bus/ferry passes for Bermuda while on the ship?

Thank you!

We bought our passes at a kiosk right on the dock, between the two ships.

You probably already thought of this, but does Tim have a facebook page? The comedian on our sailing mentioned his. You might be able to track Tim's performance whereabouts on social media.

I am Facebook friends with Tim, but he hasn't announced where he will be in October.

I am also a fan of Jose and Patti. I just realized they have a facebook page. Their schedule shows they will be on the Dawn again soon. I'm going in October, and I'm so glad they will be there. This is copied from their schedule page.
