New to NCL...

To all my fellow cruisers-

My wife and I are not new to cruising (20+ voyages)but new to NCL...

That being said, we booked a balcony guarantee on the Getaway for January. What can we realistically expect in terms of category, i.e. The lowest end balcony or somewhat higher grade? I realize every cruise is unique but I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has booked a BX cat before and what did they wind up with in terms of accommodations?

Thanks!

Good morning and welcome to NCL forum. We've done GTY a couple of times but to attempt to compare apples to apples I'll just mention our Epic cruise since it was around the same time of year and the ships are close to the same size.

We ended up getting a BA cabin. It was a great location deck 11 mid-ship and the cabin seemed spacious enough with lots of storage too. Motion is not a concern for us but we really felt nothing. So, where will you end up is anyone's guess but I wish you luck and hope you get a nice location.

Enjoy your cruise.
