The_Big_M Posted August 10, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 10, 2014 The Big M cant tell you what you want to know but will only disagree on your own research and "cheaper" outcome! Its been happening with me for years lol There is defiantly some local AU T/A ties involved even though its denied;) Right, so other posters also find some prices cheaper, and even in other threads today some people posted of better deals e.g. the same woodyren posting about Hawaii cruisers cheaper through AU than from US agents. But, hey, keep believing those conspiracy theories... lol.
The_Big_M Posted August 10, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) In the name of a "fare" go. I looked at this thread. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2084124 Aussie price. 22 Sept on the Radiance - 18 day cruise Hawaii to Sydney from $1294 inside and $1921 for a balcony. Under $4000 for two. Price on my go to USA TA site. $7852 US. So it just shows you need to check both. I appreciate your balance, woodyren. woodyren Posted August 10, 2014 #29 Share Posted August 10, 2014 I appreciate your balance, woodyren. Thanks. And I would appreciate you posting a few of those you were talking about. Seriously. I'm not having a go here. There might just be something that interests me and I at least learn where to look in the future.
The_Big_M Posted August 10, 2014 #30 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Thanks. And I would appreciate you posting a few of those you were talking about. Seriously. I'm not having a go here. There might just be something that interests me and I at least learn where to look in the future. As posted, many that I saw are already sold out. As to how we find them, there are two main sources that I have seen here: 1) TA newsletters 2) Scanning price lists regularly There's a third which is just seeing what other people have posted, but they tend to be all over the place, so can be hard to find! Rare MicCanberra Posted August 10, 2014 #31 Share Posted August 10, 2014 I have got some greta information from these expos such as first hand knowledge for some of the booths and of course the brochures. The deals unfortunately hve never been better than what we have researched on our own though. The good thing about the expos are that it is really easy to compare some products in an apples to apples type scenario.:D
