On board credit question

I just got $160 on board credit and I see price difference on billing but I don't see anything about on board credit. Where do I look for this or is this something I won't see until on board just curious, thanks in advance

I saw it on my invoice page with my cruise documents. If you print them it will appear on the page after the booking summary, which shows the itemized charges of your cruise. As a matter of fact it is shown directly under the total cruise charges.

Sometimes it depends on who is giving you the credit. If you are getting the OBC from your TA because you booked with them, it doesn't always show up on your Carnival information but should be there on your account when you board. :)

you say you got OBC, but also say you saw a price adjustment on your booking? if it is a price adjustment, then no OBC. If it is OBC, then it is listed under your cruise documents unless from a TA as has been stated already

If this was for a price drop and you are before final payment due date you will get a price adjustment and not on board credit, even if you paid the cruise off in full. If you paid your cruise off in full but you are before final payment date your credit card will get the refund difference.

 

If you are after final payment date then you will get on board credit.

This is not necessarily true. My cruise was paid in full before final payment date, there was a price drop, and it was put on as OBC for me. I think it depends on who you talk to when you call customer service and if they want to refund your payment or post it as OBC. It shows up on my invoice sheet as OBC. :D

I haven't found anything that I can't use it on!

 

We have used ours from the Chef's Table to drinks, merchandise, steakhouse and casino (not me, DH)!
