ppfqp Posted August 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2014 For a westbound transatlantic on the. Liberty, which would you choose? 6338 is a center hump balcony on the starboard side. 7446 is at the rear of the hump on the port side. Advantages of 6338 - center hump, great views in either direction, one deck down to Promenade Disadvantages: Less sun on balcony - no sunset views, cooler temps in shade? Windy? Advantages of 7446 - Sunnier port side, sunsets! prefer deck 7 with cabins above and below, Disadvantages: not center hump; less view? Too much sun on balcony? Will it be hot? Please share your thoughts! Which would you pick?

ppfqp Posted August 15, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Port side for the sun. Thanks Bob. We are not particularly sun seekers (prefer some shade to full sun) but we do like sunrises and sunsets and would prefer to be warm rather than chilly. Anyone else have any thoughts? Is the view obscured at all when you're in the back of the hump? Is there more wind in certain locations?

Not that we're sun seekers either, but being on the sunny side also makes the stateroom brighter inside.
